Six ferocious women that every millennium should aspire to be

In the era of women’s empowerment, where women do not need to be defined by society and their purpose in life, women of the current generation are now more frank and curious. They express their opinion and are not afraid to express their sincere and sincere opinions on issues. Here, he listed six women who are excellent examples and why every millennium should aspire to be like them.

1- Iza Calzado

Iza chooses to renounce her doubt and uncertainty and promises to embrace her imperfect body. And to encourage other women, she co-founded a self-love campaign entitled “The Body Love Revolution” in partnership with She Talks Asia that aims to inspire women to celebrate the skin we are in and create a healthy relationship with our bodies .

2- Mari Jasmine

A woman of style, Mari Jasmine inspires us daily with her publications curated on social networks. But another thing that we admire about this fashionista is how she told the world that it should not be defined by her past relationships. Last June, she celebrated Pride Month with her partner Samantha Lee, and showed us the value of owning our truths, opposing people’s criticism and celebrating all kinds of love.

What an inspiring #pride month we’ve just wrapped up! 25,000 people strong this year in Manila, celebrating as one. Pride is about celebrating love, equality, and owning your truth. So here’s mine: in the little time I’ve spent on this earth, I’ve had the privilege of being in love with both men and women. Filipinos are known to be some of the most loving people on earth. As a foreigner arriving in Manila over 5 years ago, I can attest to this – I’ve been accepted and treated with love and compassion from day one. I’ve been welcomed to family dinners, been nurtured, taken care of and was never made to feel like an outsider. My dream is for the same kind of love, compassion, and understanding to be shown to the LGBTQIA+ community. We still have a long way to go to reach acceptance and equality, especially here in the Philippines. My dream is to live in a world where I feel safe walking down the street holding my girlfriend’s hand. A world where I have the same fundamental human rights that I would be entitled to if I were in a straight, heteronormative relationship. To those who don’t have any friends or family in the LGBTQIA+ community, I implore you to reach out and start learning. We are often only afraid of the things we don’t know or understand. To reach equality, we need our allies to be as passionate and vocal about our rights as we are. To the LGBTQIA+ community and to those who are still questioning/figuring out who you are – you are wonderful, worthy and loved. Don’t let any person or any institution let you think otherwise. I stand by you and I will fight with you forever! 🌈🎉❤️

Dropping all the expensive items she owns and leaving behind the luxurious habits she once enjoyed, Andi decided to live a simpler life in her new home in Baler. In addition to taking this decision that remains true to his heart, we also admire Andi for defending body positivity. She shows that we are more beautiful when we are not restricted by the numbers in the balance and we are living our lives according to our real passions.

She reflected on the change, that it “happens everywhere. It’s part of life. It’s inevitable. Even in the [showbiz] industry, change will happen also. And if it will happen, I might as well create that path of change for me. This is what I really want, this makes me happy. It’s scary but I’m home and I’ll always be happy.”— a snippet of the digital story on @nolisoli.ph, for #NorthernLiving’s heirloom issue, where I am on the cover. 😊😊 📷 by @otherjoseph Make up by @pamrobes Styling by @megmanzano, assted by @colleencosme, @monstrosophia

4- Jasmine Curtis Smith

Active Youth Ambassador for World Vision Philippines since 2014, Jasmine is more than just her angelic face, as she defends a cause to help children in need across the country. Jasmine celebrated Christmas with the children of World Vision Philippines as a way to give back for the blessings that follow her path. The young actress shows us that having a compassionate heart is still one of the best qualities we can possess as humans.

5- Angelica Panganiban

Inquisitive and direct, Angelica is a woman with a personality without limits that distinguishes her in comparison with other personalities of the entertainment world. She also chooses not to insist on negativity after facing so many broken hearts, but rather, knows how to defend herself and inspire other women to know that life is much more than drowning in feelings. Millennials, take notes.

6- Kim Jones

Kim is living proof that it is always worth pursuing our dreams, no matter where we are in our lives. She makes us believe that the measure of a real woman comes from staying true to her passions, and her essence is not becoming someone’s wife or mother. Kim is a woman of her own, and her impeccable style, creative mind and strong character are qualities that we can only aspire to expose as we move into our young adult life.

Being in the public eye while showing their most authentic identities seems so natural to these women. Fortunately, we can all be inspired by them and forge a path of our own that allows us to celebrate life, pursue our dreams and be the women we should always be.
