The Netherlands temporarily suspends the visa issuance service in Pakistan

web hamari: Following reports of the closure of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Pakistan, the embassy spokesman issued a statement saying that only the visa service had been stopped for the time being.

In a statement issued here, the spokesman said that the embassy was completely open and that daily operations were being carried out. He said the renovation was taking place at the embassy, ​​so it was closed for two days last week.

Operations at the embassy continue, however, the visa service is temporarily halted, the spokesperson added.

The Dutch website ‘Netherlands and You’ recently reported that “the issuance of visa (s) for Pakistan has been temporarily halted”.

He added: “As soon as this situation is resolved, appointments for visa applications can be made through the VFS Global visa application centers in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi.

The report also notes that the Embassy of the Netherlands in Islamabad can not receive applications for passports or other consular services.
