Heavy rains cause cold weather in Peshawar, nearby areas

The Pakistan Department of Meteorology has forecast a cold climate along with snowfall for Skardu and its surrounding areas in the next two days.
Intermittent rains are expected in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gilgit Baltistan, according to the local office.
Yesterday, parts of Punjab received the first rain of the winter, while snowfalls were recorded in the northern areas, which intensified the cold waves in the affected areas.
The contact department said the cold spell would persist for weeks and could intensify further in other parts of the country.
